Privacy policy.

This policy explains what personal information we collect through monolythium.com and related surfaces, why we collect it, how we use it, and the choices you have. We try to collect as little as we can and to keep it for as short as we can.

· Who we are

The data controllers for monolythium.com are:

  • Mono Labs R&D LLC — a California limited liability company headquartered in San Francisco. Mono Labs R&D LLC operates the Genesis Liquidity Program and is the seller of record for any LYTH allocation purchased through this site.
  • Monolythium Foundation — a Cayman Islands foundation company that stewards the Monolythium protocol, the Foundation reserve, and protocol-level activation oracles.

Where this policy refers to “we”, “us”, or “our”, it refers to whichever of the two entities is acting in a given context. For purchases through /get-lyth, the controller is Mono Labs R&D LLC. For protocol-level interactions (e.g. Foundation grants, operator activation), the controller is the Monolythium Foundation.

· What we collect
· Information you give us

Genesis Liquidity Program (/get-lyth)

When you submit an allocation request, we collect the information you enter into the form:

  • Buyer type (individual or company)
  • Full legal name, or company legal name and the name of the natural-person representative
  • Email address and/or Telegram handle
  • Country of residence (or country of incorporation)
  • Allocation amount requested
  • Your 18+ and eligibility attestations

The form is held only in memory in your browser while the page is open. Nothing is written to localStorage or sessionStorage, and the fields are cleared on success and when you leave the page.

· KYC / identity verification

Before any LYTH is released

Before any allocation is released, we are legally required to verify your identity. We use a regulated identity-verification provider (Sumsub) to collect and check:

  • Government-issued ID (passport, national ID, or driver’s licence)
  • A selfie / liveness check
  • Proof of address, where required
  • For companies: corporate documents and information about beneficial owners

Sumsub processes this information as our processor under a written data-processing agreement. We receive a pass/fail result and a verification reference, not full document images, except where required for audit or to resolve a manual review.

· On-chain information

Public by design

Public-ledger data is public. Addresses, balances, and transactions recorded on registered Monolythium development network 69420 may be visible to anyone, including through monoscan.xyz, even though the RPC is currently stale and development data has no monetary value. Future mainnet data would likewise be public if mainnet launches. We do not control public-ledger data and cannot delete it. If you publish a connection between an address and your real-world identity (for example, by posting it on social media or by passing KYC for an allocation tied to that address), we may store that link in our systems.

· Information collected automatically

Server logs only

monolythium.com is a static site. We do not use third-party advertising, ad-network pixels, Google Analytics, or any cross-site tracking. Our reverse proxy keeps short-lived access logs (IP, request path, user agent, response code) for operational and security purposes, typically for no more than 30 days. We do not set tracking cookies.

· Stored on your device

Browser storage

We keep a small handful of preference flags in your browser's localStorage — your chosen theme, dismissed UI banners, and the acknowledgement that you have seen the browser-storage notice — so the site remembers your choices between visits. These values stay on your device, are not transmitted to our servers, and contain no personal identifier. The same disclosure applies to docs.monolythium.com and monoscan.xyz.

Clearing site data in your browser removes these values; the next visit treats you as new. We do not set HTTP cookies.

· Why we use it
  • To process your allocation — record your reservation, contact you about next steps, and deliver vested LYTH at mainnet.
  • To meet legal obligations — anti-money-laundering, counter-terrorism-financing, sanctions screening (including OFAC), and tax reporting where applicable.
  • To operate and secure the site — keep services available, detect abuse, investigate incidents.
  • To communicate with you — answer questions you send us, send transactional notices about your allocation, and (only if you opt in) send occasional product updates.

Our legal bases under GDPR, where it applies, are: performance of a contract (processing your allocation), legal obligation (KYC / AML / sanctions), legitimate interests (site operation, security, fraud prevention), and consent (optional marketing email).

· Who we share it with

We do not sell personal information. We share it only with:

  • Processors acting on our instructions — our hosting provider (Railway), email delivery (Resend), identity verification (Sumsub), payment processors for fiat or stablecoin settlement where applicable, and customer-support tooling. Each is bound by a written data-processing agreement.
  • Professional advisers — lawyers, auditors, and accountants, under duties of confidentiality.
  • Regulators and law enforcement — where we are legally required to disclose, or where we believe in good faith that disclosure is necessary to protect rights, safety, or property.
  • A successor entity — in the unlikely event of a corporate reorganisation, merger, or sale, subject to equivalent protections.
· International transfers

Mono Labs R&D LLC is in the United States; the Monolythium Foundation is in the Cayman Islands; some processors are in the European Economic Area or in other jurisdictions. When personal data leaves your country, we rely on the appropriate transfer mechanism (for example, the EU Standard Contractual Clauses for transfers out of the EEA / UK) and we put contractual safeguards in place with each processor.

· How long we keep it
  • Allocation form (unverified): deleted within 12 months if KYC is not completed.
  • KYC records and verified allocation data: kept for the longer of (i) seven years after the relationship ends or (ii) the period required by applicable AML / tax law.
  • Support email: kept for up to 24 months unless we need it longer to resolve a dispute.
  • Server logs: typically 30 days, longer if needed to investigate a security incident.
· Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:

  • Access the personal information we hold about you.
  • Correct information that is inaccurate or incomplete.
  • Ask us to delete information we no longer need to keep.
  • Object to or restrict certain processing.
  • Request a portable copy of information you gave us.
  • Withdraw consent for processing that relies on consent.
  • Lodge a complaint with your local data-protection authority.

Some of these rights are limited where we are required by law to keep information (for example, KYC records under AML rules). To exercise a right, email [email protected]. We will respond within the time required by applicable law (30 days under GDPR, 45 days under CCPA / CPRA, in most cases).

· Children

monolythium.com is not directed to children under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. The Genesis Liquidity Program requires an 18+ attestation. If you believe a child has given us personal information, contact [email protected] and we will delete it.

· Restricted jurisdictions

The Genesis Liquidity Program is not offered to U.S. persons or to persons located in sanctioned or otherwise restricted jurisdictions. We screen submissions against applicable sanctions lists (including OFAC) and will refuse or reverse any allocation that breaches those rules.

· Security

We hold personal information on encrypted infrastructure, restrict access on a need-to-know basis, and keep audit logs of access to sensitive systems. No system is perfectly secure; if you believe your information has been compromised, contact [email protected] immediately.

· Changes to this policy

We will update this page when our practices change. The “effective” date at the top reflects the most recent change. Material changes will be highlighted on monolythium.com and, where appropriate, communicated by email to people who gave us one.
