Monolythium/Build/Guides/Self-hosting an indexer

Indexer release checklist.

Architecture guidance for a future self-hosted indexer. No canonical public schema, image, snapshot, archive-node bundle, or Foundation indexer deployment is claimed here; development network 69420 is stale.

· Current outcome

A checklist, not a deployable bundle.

Use these gates to evaluate a future release. Do not invent endpoints or replay stale development data as if it were a current, finalized index.

· Release evidence required

· Steps

5 numbered steps.

01
Release

Locate a canonical versioned bundle.

Require a public schema, migration history, supported protocol version, image or source tag, checksums, and an explicit license. None is supplied by this page.

02
Source

Prove the node is advancing.

Check chain identity, genesis hash, head height, and latest timestamp independently. A reachable endpoint or matching chain id does not prove sync or finality.

03
Backfill

Verify every snapshot input.

A future snapshot must publish its height, state commitment, hash, producer, and protocol version. Refuse an unsigned or undocumented archive.

04
Expose

Separate public reads from administration.

Bind administrative interfaces privately, authenticate privileged operations, rate-limit public reads, and do not expose signing keys through an indexer.

05
Attest

Report degraded state honestly.

Health output must distinguish reachability, source-head age, indexing lag, schema version, and last successful ingestion. It must not call stale state live.

· Verify

Do not deploy until every field is evidenced.

release_bundle: unavailable canonical_schema: unavailable verified_snapshot: unavailable advancing_source_head: false public_deployment_status: blocked

This blocked result is intentional. Replace it only with links and hashes from a dated public release plus a fresh advancing-network probe.

Wait for the versioned release.

You can design and test an indexer locally, but this public page does not provide the artifacts needed to operate a canonical Monolythium indexer.
